I am a highly experienced Public
Relations Consultant and event
manager who has helped a range of
high profile national organisations in the
private and public sector to engage with
stakeholders, communicate efficiently
and deal effectively with challenging
media and commuications issues.
I have helped corporate management teams (up to chief executive level) to solve critical reputation problems using traditional and social media to promote and defend their interests.
Over the past 15 years, my list of appointments has included working with local authorities, the NHS, higher education and culture industry.
Key projects have included: The 2012 Olympics, NHS public information campaigns on anti-smoking, acohol abuse and healthy living, arts and culture launches and product launches for a multi-national home furnishing retailer.
My freelance and permanent experience is predominantly in London with several stints in New Zealand.
My core expertise is in PR and event management and
journalism. I am also an experienced photo-journalist.
I have a Bachelor of Communication Studies degree, majoring in Journalism with modules covering TV, Radio, and Public Relations.
I speak conversational French, am well-travelled in the US
and Australasia and am a keen rollerblader and theatre reviewer. I enjoy varied challenges and hard work and am comfortable working both within a team or independently.
